Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri dixit is a well-known Indian actress best known for the films Beta Saajan, Hum Aapke Hain Koun. Her career began in the 80s before coming to popularity with her role in Tezaab, a film in which she was a part of the cast with veteran actor Anil Kapoor. In the following film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared with her. She was born into the Mumbai middle class family and began to dance when she was a child. As a young woman when she began to act, she was not successful as a lot films she made were not successful. Eventually, she found success with Indian filmmaking and rose to the very top. The marriage of her mother led to a hiatus from her acting career. The actress returned in later years. Recently, she had an important character in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the struggle of women in India. Dixit was awarded eight Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen nominations she received. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India, was bestowed upon Dixit. Her reputation also includes for her social activism.
