Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, born in Mexico was born to the music-loving parents of her family. When she was a kid, she listened to a lot of traditional music as well as old Boleros. Also, she listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana loves tangos as well drama and opera. When she was 16 years old, she began singing and learning music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started giving her a more intensive vocal instruction. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. As a student and young professional, she was a part of various chamber groups as well as opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. When she moved from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she sang for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. Ana is involved in a variety of local organizations and is a teacher as well as a performer due to her enthusiasm for art and music. Ana has been a participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for the opportunity to share her passion and enthusiasm for the traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to instill a sense of particularly among the younger generation to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
